Hello everyone, my name is Bethan and I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Thirty 4/7 Communications as an intern. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in History and am currently pursuing a Masters in Political Communication at Cardiff University.
As someone who’s passionate about politics and communication, I’m excited to have the opportunity to apply my academic background to real-world situations. Throughout my coursework, I’ve gained a strong understanding of the theories and practices that are essential to crafting effective messages for different audiences.
As a previous public affairs intern in a higher education context, I had the opportunity to work on a range of communication initiatives that aimed to connect the institution with its stakeholders. My role involved supporting the public affairs team in various tasks such as briefing senior staff, organising political visits and producing content for social media. I hope to be able to to use these skills to my advantage in my new role.
I’m particularly interested in renewable energy and believe that it’s crucial for us to shift towards a more sustainable future. As a communications intern, I’m excited to contribute to communication efforts that promote the benefits of renewable energy and encourage positive action towards achieving our climate goals.
I will be involved in a range of different tasks across the team, from developing social media channels to helping to organise stakeholder events.
Overall, I’m excited to contribute my skills to the company’s efforts and to learn from the experienced professionals on the team. I believe that this internship will provide me with valuable experience in crafting effective messages and engaging diverse audiences.
