The T47 team is excited to be joined by Holly Simons as Account Executive. We’re looking forward to introducing Holly to clients, however in the meantime, we’ve asked Holly to introduce herself in her own words!

Hello everyone, I’m Holly, and I’m delighted to be joining the Thirty4/7 team as an Account Executive.

I studied Sociology at the University of Manchester where I gained critical thinking skills which has helped me to question and understand society. I am a bit of a Sociology-nerd and believe in understanding people and their experiences to help make sense of the world. Aside from this, I love being outdoors and active through a variety of hobbies including acrobatics, handstands and climbing.

Previously, I worked as an English teacher in southern-Spain for two years, before becoming a Public Affairs intern at a leading cancer charity, which is where I developed my understanding of public affairs and how to communicate policy calls to key opinion leaders. Following this, I worked at a financial regulator, supporting the regulatory policy team with work to ensure that accredited firms were meeting quality assurance standards.

I am excited to continue developing my communication skills through assisting the Thirty4/7 team on exciting renewable energy and infrastructure projects, at a time where the implementation of these developments has never been more timely and important.

I am passionate about creating a green future for generations to come and am thrilled to be joining Thirty 4/7 whose work and vision aligns with this passion of mine. Renewable energy generation is imperative if we are to meet climate targets and I am excited to develop my understanding about renewable energy solutions, the planning process and the policy landscape within which these projects operate.

I am particularly looking forward to working on wind-farm developments and assisting with managing relationships with stakeholders and local communities to ensure the proposals are shaped by those who will be directly impacted by these plans. I am keen to explore how clean, green energy solutions provide an opportunity to directly benefit local communities. I believe this is truly exciting – not only a for a greener future for generations to come – but also more equitable one too.
